HOW IT WORKS
Making the wall is very simple once you understand what it is. It is not really a wall, it is a staircase, that is only 4 units wide on both sides, and 238 units tall, now I know why the hell did you choose 4 and 238? Well, here is why, after hours of testing and getting mad I found that the smallest step you can have in marathon is 4 wide, the 238 comes from dividing 950 by 4, you get 237.5 I just rounded up to 238, but 237 would work also. Now, you as, why did you divide 950 by 4? Well, as most of you know, 950 units is how tall one square of texture in marathon is, and because 2 of the textures repeat in fourths (one in 8 sections and the other in 4) you can make the texture repeat and still have it look like a normal wall, and thats what we all want. I guess thats about all for how the wall works.

OK, NOW, HOW THE HELL DO I DO IT??
Well, I use the map editor Pfhorte 1.0d18, by Steve Israelson a really cool guy who I have yet to meet. Now so you get used to it, I suggest you make a map much like the one included first, now to do it start with a small polly and select one side, set you ceiling and floor to the height you want and then to make staircase then, set in 4 for the left and right and 238 or 237 for the height. Now set the texture to one that repeats in fourths so it is hidden and then go in and see how it looks. Bango, your done! Now go and put it in a cool place in your map and send it to me! I want to see what you all come up with.

If you dont understand my directions or your having problems putting a master wall in your level you can find me on IRC on channel #marathon and #hornet, or you can e-mail me at okm@dartmouth.edu.
